--------------------------------------------------
One of a few good things in life is language. We don't create a whole new language. We inherit it from your ancestors. No matter how rich or poor we are, we can still possess the ability to speak.

As one said, happiness comes from loving many things. So, we'd better learn to love our languages. However, do you think that it is hard to love something that is not beautiful? For example, in our everyday life, our conversations consist of ugly things: broken English, ungrammatical sentences. So, there is no reason to love languages. Talking is tiring. Understanding others is hard. Listening to others is laborious. When it comes to a conversation, we feel uninspired by the routine questions and responses. That's why we need to have other hobbies such as photography, soccer games, computer games, fishing, music, and so on.

Once in your life time, have you ever had an exotic experience with spoken words? You may not believe this, but spoken words can do wonders for us in many ways. Words can hurt. Words can bring danger. Words can make us sad. Words can heal. Words can bring joy. Words can uplift our spirit. Words can bring ourselves and abstract ideas close together.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to see beauty in the English language because school materials are dull. They are written to make it harder for students to read.

So, our ability to use beautiful, powerful words to make us happy is a good thing. The key is to notice how we feel whenever we hear or say words, phrases, and sentences -especially proverbs and sayings.
Beautiful words, when said and spoken, can create a powerful, inspiring emotion within us. These words can help us go through difficulty in life.

Note: Each underlined word below means there is a definition for it on the right section of this page.
